4 slices bacon
1 hard-boiled egg
1 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup vinegar

Fry bacon in fry pan, remove. Add water to drippings then add sugar and vinegar. Thicken with flour and water. Add diced boil egg to lettuce and pour dressing over. Toss lightly, garnish with crumbled bacon slices.
