2 C milk
2 tsp salt
1 1/2 C sugar
2 cakes yeast
1 C butter
1 1/2 C potato water
4 eggs

Recipe
Scald the milk. Pour into a large pan. Add butter, sugar and salt. when lukewarm, add yeast, the well beaten eggs and some flour. Beat hard. Let rise until light. Then work more flour in as for bread but not too stiff. Let rise, when light again, cut the dough into pieces about the size of a ducks egg. Work into a smooth ball. Place in a well greased pan. cover and let rise until very light. Bake 45 minutes in a 300 degree F. oven.
