    Gum Paste Glue For Pastillage

    This is a fast drying glue for cake decorating.

    List of Ingredients




    1 Lb fine, Powdered sugar

    1 small envelope Knox Gelatin

    2 TBS of Citrus juice (optional)

    3 TBS of Water, (or 5 if omitting juice)

    1 Tsp of Glucose

    Recipe



    Place gelatin, water and juice, if using, in double boiler, dissolve about 5 to 7 minutes. Add glucose and stir. Use a mixer. Place sugar in mixer and add liquid mix until slightly together, remove and knead. If it feels too sticky, add a little more sugar. Wrap with plastic wrap and place in plastic bag. Seal. Let rest over night. Use this as your glue when attaching flowers to cakes, (or each other).
