DROP: Eggnog Snickerdoodles

Cookies
2 3/4 cup flour
2 1/2 cup sugar
1 cup real butter, softened (do not substitute)
2 eggs
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp brandy extract
1/2 tsp. rum extract
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Sugar Mixture
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. nutmeg
Recipe
Heat oven to 400 degrees. In large mixer bowl, combine all cookie ingredients. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often until well mixed (2 to 4 minutes). In small bowl, stir together the sugar mixture ingredients. Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of dough in 1-inch balls; roll in sugar mixture. Place 2 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
Yield: 4 dozen
