    List of Ingredients




    2 large onions, chopped
    1 tablespoon minced garlic
    2 pounds boneless top round or sirloin steak, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
    1 pound ground beef
    1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes in purée
    1 can (15 to 19 ounces) red kidney beans, undrained
    1/3 cup Frank's® RedHot® Cayenne Pepper Sauce
    2 packages (1 1/4 ounces each) chili seasoning mix

    Recipe



    1. Heat 1 tbsp. oil in 5-quart saucepot or Dutch oven until hot. Sauté onion and garlic until tender; transfer to bowl.

    2. Heat 3 tbsp. oil in same pot; cook meat in batches until well-browned. Drain fat.

    3. Add 3/4 cup water and remaining ingredients to pot. Stir in onion and garlic. Heat to boiling, stirring. Simmer, partially covered, for 1 hour or until meat is tender, stirring often. Garnish as desired.

    Makes 10 servings

    Tip: Substitute 3 pounds ground beef for the combination of beef cubes and ground beef. Brown meat without oil. Proceed as in step 2. Simmer 20 minutes.
