Fresh chicken wings (as many as you can eat, 6-8 per person)
Texas Pete Hot Sauce (lg. bottle)
butter (approx. 1 stick)
Lawry's Seasoning Salt

Melt 1/2 to 1 stick butter in 8 to 12 ounces of Texas Pete (more butter for less heat). Add Lawry's to sauce to taste.
Cut wings at joint using very sharp knife and throw away the flapper end piece. Heat oil to high heat in deep fryer or Dutch oven. Lightly sprinkle wings with seasoning salt and deep fry until very brown and very crisp (do not bake or broil). Remove wings from oil and drain. coat wings with sauce in bowl and shake to coat. Serve immediately.
