    1 can (15 ounces) garbanzo beans (chickpeas)
    4 teaspoons lemon juice
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1 teaspoon creamy style peanut butter
    1 tablespoon McCormick® 1 Step Seasoning: Roasted Garlic & Bell Pepper

    Recipe



    1. Drain beans, reserving 1/3 cup liquid.

    2. Place beans, reserved liquid, lemon juice, oil, and peanut butter in food processor or blender. Blend until smooth. Empty into bowl; stir in 1 Step seasoning.

    3. Let stand 1 hour. Serve with pita bread and fresh vegetable pieces.

    Variation: For a more traditional hummus, substitute 1/3 cup tahini paste for the peanut butter.
