    Brussels Sprouts in Garlic Butter

    1 pkg Brussels sprouts, halved lengthwise
    1½ Tbsp butter
    1½ Tbsp olive oil
    3 cloves garlic, crushed
    Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    Salt and pepper, to taste

    Recipe



    Heat butter and oil in medium-sized skillet over medium-high heat until butter is foamy. Reduce heat to medium; add smashed garlic and cook until lightly browned. Remove and discard garlic.

    Add sprouts, cut-side down, cover and cook 10-15 minutes without stirring, on medium-high heat until tender when pierced with a knife. The cut side should get nice and browned with a nutty, buttery flavor enhanced by garlic.

    Top with grated Parmesan and sprinkle to taste with salt and pepper.
