    Recipe Introduction

I've been messing around with various cuts of Pork and cooking them with Cabbage, while not extremely Low Carb Cabbage makes for a nice tasting meal. So most of my
experiments have been in the under 15 Carb Range. Some of the Chinese cabbages are lower in carbs than the standard cabbages and the "dreaded" Red Cabbage has a higher carb value.

    List of Ingredients

    1 Pork Butt Steak
    1/2 head of a med-small Cabbage Chopped
    1 largish yellow onion chopped
3/4 cup Chicken Stock/Broth (I used granulated powder
and didn't add salt to the pot)

a Splash of Red Wine Vinegar

    caraway seeds - to taste
    black pepper to taste
Granulated garlic to taste (for pork steak
    seasoning)

    Recipe

    Pre heat Oven to 350F

In a Dutch Oven over medium heat with a little oil
saute the onion till soft and remove to plate. Now rub
the garlic powder into the pork butt and brown in the
Dutch oven on both sides. I guess you could use most
any preferred seasoning. But I liked garlic (lemon
pepper would be good too). Remove the Steak. Add back
the onion and add the chopped cabbage. Sprinkle well
with pepper, caraway seeds. Add in the chicken Stock
and stir well. Put the Steak in and slightly cover
with cabbage onion mix. Put the lid on and into the
preheated oven for about 1.5 hours. This is enough for
2 meals for me and I'm a fairly big eater so it should
    serve 3-4 people
