    1-8OZ PACKAGE ELBOW MACARONI - COOK 15 MINUTES - THEN DRAIN INTO A COLANDER - RINSE TO SEPARATE THE MACARONI -1 POUND SHARP CHEDDAR CHEESE GRATED

    3 LARGE EGGS
    1 TABLESPOON OF SALT
    1 TABLE SPOON OF SUGAR
    1/4 TEASPOON OF BLACK PEPPER
    1 12 OZ CAN EVAPORATED MILK UNDILUTED

    PUT EGGS IN A MIXING BOWL - ADD THE SALT - SUGAR - PEPPER AND EVAPORATED MILK - RINSE OUT HE CAN WITH A LITTLE WATER AND POUR IT INTO THE MIXING BOWL -BEAT UNTIL WELL-BLENDED

    BUTTER AN 8 x 12 INCH BAKING DISH - THEN USING 1/2 THE MACARONI, MAKE A LAYER COVERING THE BOTTOM - COVER THE MACARONI WITH 1/2 THE CHEESE - REPEAT THE LAYERS USING THE REMAINING MACARONI AND CHEESE

    STIR EGG MIXTURE AND POUR OVER THE SURFACE - WORK SOME OF THE CHEESE DOWN INTO THE MACARONI - SMOOTH OUT THE SURFACE - LIQUID LEVEL SHOULD BE A LITTLE BELOW THE SURFACE - DO NOT FLOOD. IF MORE LIQUID IS NEEDED RINSE OUT THE MIXING BOWL WITH A LITTLE MILK AND POUR IT OVER THE MACARONI.

    PREHEAT OVEN TO 350° AND BAKE UNCOVERED 40 TO 45 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN AND CENTER FIRM

    MAKES 6 TO 8 SERVINGS
