    2 lbs (900 g) lean lamb stew meat
    6 medium potatoes, cut into 1/2-inch (1 cm) slices
    3 medium onions, sliced
    1 tsp (5 ml) dried thyme
    2 cups (500 ml) beef stock
    Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

    Recipe



    Layer half the meat, potatoes, and onions in a slow cooker. Repeat and add the remaining ingredients. Cook covered on low for 8 to 10 hours, or on high for 4 to 5 hours. Skim fat from surface before serving. Serves 6 to 8
